INCLUSIVE BEACH EXPERIENCE
The Inclusive Beach Experience, located near Chiavari Marina – Porto Turistico Ammiraglio Gatti on Corso Valparaiso, offers a thoughtfully equipped space designed to ensure a pleasant and accessible beach experience for individuals with disabilities. Opening times: June – September, Monday to Sunday, 9:30 am – 6.30 pm.
PET-FRIENDLY SPACES
Your furry companions can roam freely and socialize in specially designed pet-friendly areas located at Piazza Del Buono, Via San Rufino in the Sampierdicanne neighbourhood, and Via Ghio. These comfortable spaces are equipped with drinking fountains and benches.
Additionally, your pets can enjoy “Il Lido di Fido”, a free beach located in the Colmata area, east of Piazza dell’Umanità, offering a perfect spot for your pet to have fun.
BABY POINT AND CENTRO FAMIGLIA TIGULLIO
Chiavari’s Baby Point is located at Piazzale San Francesco, adjacent to Piazza Matteotti. It is a space designed for parents who are away from home, dedicated to the care of young children.
Open Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
The Centro Famiglia Tigullio, located at Via della Cittadella no. 4, is also tailored for families. It organizes a variety of activities and workshops for children aged 0-12.

LIBRARIES
The Società Economica was established in 1791 by prominent figures from the Chiavarese entrepreneurial, intellectual, and noble circles, as well as progressive clergymen. The institution’s main scope was to foster arts, craftmanship, commerce and agriculture, as well as culture. With this purpose, in 1796, the Libreria dei Filomati was created, the first nucleus of its modern Library.
Over the years, thanks to numerous significant donations, the library’s collection has been expanded with manuscripts, incunabula, cinquecentine, illuminated choir books, prints, and periodicals, reaching a remarkable total of around 90,000 volumes, making it one of the most important libraries in the region.
A special agreement between the Municipality of Chiavari and the Società Economica ensures the public service of the Library.

SPAZIO LIDO
Spazio Lido, located at Viale Tito Groppo, no. 2, is a welcoming space open to everyone for study, work, meetings, and socializing. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The area is equipped with Wi-Fi, computers, printers, new furnishings, and various workstations spread across the interior room, the mezzanine, and the terrace overlooking the sea.

PINK PARK SPACES
Chiavari has designated “Pink Parking Spaces,” reserved for pregnant women and parents with children up to 2 years old.
Parking is regulated by a parking disc, with a maximum duration of three hours, and is only allowed for those displaying the pink pass on their vehicle. To obtain the pink pass, complete and submit your request on the website: www.comune.chiavari.ge.it, in the “Istanze Online – occupazione suolo pubblico” section (Online Requests, permit for the use of public spaces), then print the PDF file generated at the end of the process. The Pink pass is valid until the child turns two years old.
Pink parking spaces are available in Piazza Roma, Piazzale Don Nando Negri, Piazza Nostra Signora dell’Orto, near Palazzo Bianco (the municipal building), and at the entrance to the hospital on Via Ghio.
INFORMAGIOVANI
Informagiovani is a public service provided by the Municipality of Chiavari and managed by Villaggio del Ragazzo, offering information on socio-cultural opportunities available in the area, provided by various organizations. Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; Tuesday and Friday from 3:00 pm to 6 pm.
